NEW ORLEANS - The Louisiana SPCA is starting a unique vaccination drive.

On the first Saturday of the next three months, starting this saturday, the SPCA will provide dog owners free microchips, vaccinations, rabies tags and collars to residents in the 70117 zip code.

Jennifer Abbrecht of the SPCA was in the studio with details on why they are focusing on this particular zip code.

The drive is happening on November 3, December 1 and the January 5 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at various locations.
