Tulane University President Scott Cowen is preparing to say goodbye to the presidency, as he retires July 1 after 16 years at the helm of Tulane.
Cowen was on the front lines of the rebuilding effort after hurricane Katrina, and has published a new book about being a leader during New Orleans' recovery after the storm. It's called “The Inevitable City: The Resurgence of New Orleans and the Future of Urban America."
Joining the Eyewitness Morning News with more about his new book and his future plans is Scott Cowen.
Scott Cowen will talk about and sign copies of his new book Monday night at 6 p.m. at the Garden District Book Shop on Prytania Street, and it's also available at all local book stores.
