The weekend looks a little warmer and drier, a great weekend to go to a festival, and it just so happens, the Sicilian Heritage Festival is going on in Independence, Louisiana this weekend.

Joining the Eyewitness Morning News in Frank's Kitchen, is Grand Marshal, Chef Tommy Masaracchia of Tope La' Restaurant in Hammond, who is here with this year's queen, Amy Henderson, and Robin Abrams, this year's publicity chairman.

The 2014 Sicilian Fest will be held Friday, from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. in the quaint Northshore town of Independence. For more information on the festival, click here.
