NEW ORLEANS - The American Cancer Society is preparing, once again, to test their concept that knowledge is power and that power can one day eliminate cancer.
It's their third cancer prevention study or CPS 3.
Information gathered from previous studies found the connection between cancer and smoking and cancer and obesity.
The results helped countless Americans live healthier lives.
Dr. Terry Fontham, dean of the LSU Health Sciences Center School of Public Health, was in the studio to tell us more about the study and how to sign up.
