It's been nearly seven months since Hurricane Isaac, which was a weak tropical system that surprised everyone in Southeast Louisiana with it's destructive winds and flood waters.

Areas that saw little flooding in the past were inundated by the storm.

That was particularly true for St. John the Baptist Parish, where hundreds of homes were flooded.

St. John the Baptist Parish President Natalie Robottom joined us to talk about how the recovery is coming along.

On Wednesday night, St. John officials are holding another open house to discuss the parish's recovery from Isaac. It's taking place at the Regala Gymnasium in Reserve. It begins at 5:30 p.m.

Easter in the Park is March 30 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at various parks around the parish. For more information, visit http://www.sjbparish.com/news_details.php?id=1012.
