During the spring festival season, it's easy to get folks to come out to your celebration, just offer crawfish, but the St. Matthew the Apostle Men's Club has done one better, because for the sixth year in the row they're holding a crawfish cook-off.

On the patio this morning, joining the Eyewitness Morning News to talk more about the crawfish cook-off, are co-chairs, Mitch Lavin and Doug Tillman, along with Daniel Reed and Bryan Schexnayder.

The sixth annual Crawfish Cook-off for the St. Matthew the Apostle Men's Club is this Saturday at 3 p.m., on church grounds at 10021 Jefferson Highway in River Ridge. There will be music by the Top Cats and the Molly Ringwalds, plus 15,000 pounds of crawfish. Tickets are just $25 for adults, $5 for children 5 - 12 years-old, and free for children under the age of 5. Get pre-sale armbands during school hours Friday.
