NEW ORLEANS - With the eyes of the world on New Orleans, one of the many events the Super Bowl Host Committee is organizing this week is the Super Saturday of Service.

On the day before the big game, volunteers will help clean and repair five local playgrounds with help from the NFL, the city, and local non-profits.

Laura Buchtel took us to one of them at Kingswood Park in New Orleans East.

If you want to volunteer, it's Saturday morning at five different sites across town. Volunteers will help with things like checking in volunteers, serving food, helping with service projects and more. You can call 525-5678 or e-mail service@nolasuperbowl.com.

All this week Channel 4 is bringing you an inside look at the Super Bowl with our special show called "New Orleans Tonight." On Tuesday night, you can meet the local woman who knows a thing or two about putting on a halftime show. Choreographer Leslee Fitzmorris will appear on the show at 6:30 p.m. on WWLTV.
