NEW ORLEANS - Taxi drivers have clogged city streets with rallies and protests against certain requirements of the city's proposed taxi reforms.
With the final portions of the ordinances about to come up for final passage, both sides of the debate were brought to our studio to clarify their positions in this on-going contentious situation.
Deputy Mayor Michelle Thomas and Councilwoman Kristin Giselson Palmer were in the studio, along with attorney Jack Culotta, who represents several taxi owners.
