NEW ORLEANS - Under current state law, the Crescent City Connection tolls are set to expire on New Years Day.
But on Tuesday, voters can choose to extend the tolls through December 31, 2033.
It's a hot button issue that has divided the business community, elected officials and voters on both sides of the river.
Both sides were represented in the studio on Monday morning. Businessman Lee Giorgio was in the studio to speak for keeping the tolls. State Representative Pat Connick argued against the proposition.
WWLTV will have full election day coverage starting at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Once the polls close at 8 p.m., we'll start bringing you election results at the bottom of your screen, as well as full coverage on Eyewitness News at 10 p.m.
