The teenage years are certainly a learning experience when it comes to things like relationships, and as young people start dating, they can quickly find things aren't as rosy as they seem, and partners can become controlling or abusive.

The Children's Bureau of New Orleans offers help to thousands of families a year for things like teen dating violence, and Carrie Wilson-Beal, and Amy Collins join the Eyewitness Morning News to talk about how to identify abusive situations and escape them.
