NEW ORLEANS - A gay man who has been living a straight life can have difficulty emotionally making the decision to come out.
Imagine what it would be like to be the teenage child of that man.
That's what happened to Erin Margolin when she was 15-years-old, and at that time she learned there was no where to go for help.
So she founded The Gay Dad Project.
Margolin and her father, Larry Best, joined us to explain her new support program for the children of gay parents.
