The young men from the Tipitina's intern program, along with Donald Harrison, and the students from O. Perry Walker, under the direction of Wilbert Rawlins, did a lot of rehearsing before several concerts that went over very well with Japanese audiences.

In 2013, WWLTV will air a documentary in conjunction with Sendai TV to be shown on Channel 4 and in Japan.

Eric Paulsen met some of the employees at Sendai TV, and they talked about how we have much in common. They went through the disastrous earthquake and tsunami, and we suffered through Hurricane Katrina

Music has helped kids both in Japan and New Orleans, Paulsen said.

Paulsen met his counterpart in Sendai - their morning anchor.

He was also very interested in their high tech weather center.
