NEW ORLEANS - Last time Dr. Eileen Palace was in the studio, she told us how post-traumatic stress disorder is being redefined by major disasters like Hurricane Katrina and the BP oil spill.

On Wednesday, she was here to talk about some treatments to go along with the new definition of PTSD.

Palace is looking for people with type 2 diabetes to participate in some new studies.

To participate in the first study, you must be using insulin with a needle and vial. To participate in the second study, you must have never used insulin, but are willing to. To participate in the third study, you must use a long acting insulin once a day

If you are interested, contact Palace at 834-4500.
