Sally-Ann Roberts was back in the anchor chair, three weeks after leaving to donate her stem cells to her sister Robin.
During her absence, Sally's mother, Lucimarian Roberts, passed away.
Sally-Ann said of her mother, "She left us a great inheritance, her faith."
Sally said her mother hung on long enough to make sure that Sally would be able to give Robin the stem cells she needed to battle her illness. She passed away the day after Sally completed the procedure.
Sally said Robin was in the hospital Monday to begin the process that will lead to the eventual implantation of the stem cells.
