NEW ORLEANS - How a person handles a disaster depends on the person.

That goes for children, too.

But whether a child becomes more active, more irritable or more withdrawn, parents need to know that their reaction is normal.

Dr. Amy Dickson, a clinical psychologist with the LSU Health Sciences Center, joined us to talk about what parents can expect from children of different ages and to offer advice on how to help them.
