NEW ORLEANS - When starting a diet, one of the first foods many people give up is bread.

Breads, rolls and bagels have gotten a bad reputation because they are a top source of calories in our diets.

But, they can also be a great source of fiber, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals, which we need.

On Wednesday morning, Dr. Kevin Stephens joined us to help resolve this apparent dietary conflict.
