NEW ORLEANS - Farmers across the country are disappointed in Congress after they failed to pass a Farm Bill at the end of the year.

Instead, lawmakers extended the 2008 Farm Vill, which will only be good for nine months.

The action has put farmers in a tough position as they make decisions for planting in 2013.

Albert Orgeron with the LSU Ag Center was in the studio with what that ultimately means for you at the grocery store.
