LAS VEGAS, Nevada - Las Vegas is already pretty over the top, and now Sin City is getting another landmark addition, the world's largest ferris wheel.

The outer wheel of the 55-story high roller is expected to get hoisted into place.

It’ll be visible from all over the city, and next year it will get 1,500 LED lights and start its slow spin.

Riders on the high roller will take 30 minutes to make a full revolution, and there will be audiovisual shows to accompany the ride.
