GW Fins: BBQ Shrimp

Serving Size: 4

4 pounds fresh La. shrimp

12 ounces BBQ butter

1 tablespoon Shrimp Magic

1 bottle Abita Amber beer

Canola oil


  1. Preheat a large sauté pan.
  2. Season the shrimp with Shrimp Magic and sauté in Canola oil for about 2 minutes on each side. Add 4 ounces of beer and reduce to 2 ounces over medium heat.
  3. Stir in the cold BBQ butter cut into small chunks over low heat, stirring constantly to make a creamy sauce.
  4. Serve immediately with plenty of hot French bread.
