Mary Clare and I, duly designated Grand Marshals, had a Carnival good time in spite of the nasty weather Saturday in Houma with the Krewe of Mardi Gras. First class hospitality, a great krewe breakfast, a special visit to an orphanage where we brought Mardi Gras to "the kids," made the event ultra-super special. In the end, no one could have done it better than Helen and Johnny White and the one-and-only "Cat Daddy." Next year we recommend taking in the Fat Tuesday, Cajun Country, celebrations in Houma.
