Fish are here to catch at Delacroix. The only problem is the water is sooooooo low, navigating it can be hazardous.

Oak River is holding trout, and fishermen can catch them with avocado, black and charturese, or green soft plastics fished flush and slow on the bottom.

Speckled trout are moving to the flats as the day wears on and the water heats up. I recommend the guys fish them 20-24 inches under a popping cork.

Chartreuse sparkle beetles and the Opening Night color are working best in the cleaner waters while purple or black are working best in tainted water.
