Sorry this is coming to y'all late. What can I say... computer problems. Let me just tell you this... This is the best rabbit recipe that I have encountered in a while! Make it tonight and you too will be a believer! |

1 cup Vegetable Oil |
Instructions |
| Step 1: Heat cup of oil.
Step 2: Cut rabbit into five pieces. Add slat and pepper (1 Tbs.) and flour to dust. Step 3: Place rabbit into hot cast iron Dutch oven and fry until golden brown. Step 4: Remove rabbit pieces from oil and drain. Step 5: Whisk 1/2 cup flour into oil and cook until brown Step 6: Drop in onions, bell peppers, celery, garlic and carrots. Cook 5 minutes. Step 7: Add stock and bay leaves, bring to boil and well. Step 8: Place into preheated oven at 350 degrees. |
