KENNER, La. -- The father of a Kenner councilman was arrested on a sexual battery charge Thursday, according to the Kenner Police Department.
Kenner police say the victim in the case claims Leroy Stagni, a long-time chiropractor, touched her inappropriately and displayed improper behavior.
The victim is an employee at the chiropractic office.
Stagni was arrested at his home around 6 p.m.
Stagni’s son is Joe Stagni, a Kenner council member.
