NEW ORLEANS -- Defensive coordinator Gregg Williams is staying with the New Orleans Saints and will not interview for the head coaching job for the Denver Broncos, according to WWL-TV Sports.
Saints head coach Sean Payton said Monday during his season-ending news conference that the Denver Broncos faxed in a formal request for permission to speak with Williams for their head coaching opening.
