Sad to go out branded as a thief. If he's done any good during his time on the job this is how he will be remembered.

they didn't tell you the whole story, of course. the media loves to bust peop[e doing stuff like this but cares little if the whole story is put out there. he was preoccupied talking on the phone and holding shopping bags while testing cologne and accidentally put the tester in his pocket without thinking. the saddest part of all of this is the fact he lost his acclaimed career in which he did so much unrecognized good for this God forsaken city over the 30 plus year on the NOPD, and this accident and the one sided ill directed media attention surrounding it will be how it ends and how he is best remembered. the NOPD and city of New Orleans should be ashamed of itself, once again, for demanding he resign without giving him the benefit of the doubt.
