SLIDELL, La. -- A cat that was stuck in a tree for over a week now has a home, and apparently, he’s one of the newest members of the Saints bandwagon.

Veteran climber Ron Hastings and the Humane Society helped rescue the cat from 75 feet up in a Slidell pine tree. Hastings climbed up the tree, and upon reaching the top, the cat scampered away to a flimsy branch before being saved. The rescue took nearly 45 minutes.

The cat does have an immune deficiency disease, but Thursday, the Humane Society says the cat has a home.

A Northshore man adopted the animal.

The cat's name? "Who Dat."
