NEW ORLEANS – Police are looking for a man who robbed his victims after yelling a Saints chant to get their attention.

The incident happened in the 3100 block De Soto Street around 4:50 p.m. Saturday, the same night that the Saints lost their perfect season to the Dallas Cowboys.

NOPD spokesman officer Garry Flot described the suspect as 20 to 25 years old, around 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 180 pounds. He was wearing black sleeves and black pants, and was armed with a light-colored handgun. The department released a computer sketch of the suspect, which you can see above.

Flot said the suspect approached the victims and yelled, “Go Saints!” The victims responded by saying, “Yeah, Who Dat!” at which point the suspect took out his handgun and demanded money.

The suspect told the victims to get inside of their home before fleeing to an unknown location, Flot said.

If you know anything about this incident, call Crimestoppers at 822-1111.
