Authorities in Washington Parish are searching for several inmates who escaped from a work release program in Angie.

Officials said a total of three inmates escaped.

One of them turned himself in. Two others - identified as 40-year-old Emile Robertson of Lubbock, Texas and Kevin Jefferson of Franklinton - were said to still be on the run.
