Facing a charge of second-degree murder are 15-year-old George Brown, 18-year-old Lee Michael Brown, 19-year-old Charles Dexter Martin and 26-year-old Ronnie Allen, all of Ponchatoula. George Brown is being tried as an adult.

The four are accused of pistol whipping Clarence Nicholes, robbing him and tossing his body into a swamp.

Investigators say the four also allegedly stole Nicholes car and wallet during the crime.

Nicholes' body was found March 10 in a swamp south of Ponchatoula by a fisherman.

The four suspects were arrested April 10.
