Hearings set for proposed children's museum in Hammond

HAMMOND, La. -- Hearings are planned Thursday in Hammond for a proposed children's museum that would be built on a five-acre site donated by the city of Hammond.
Officials of the Louisiana Children's Discovery Museum will present details of the proposed $5 million, 20,000-square-foot facility.
The hearings are at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the city council chamber.
