Sandbag Locations Announced

Slidell

Mayor Ben Morris has open five sandbag locations within the City of Slidell.  The locations will be open on Saturday August 23, from 5:00 p.m. til 9:00 p.m.  If needed the same locations will be reopened on Sunday, August 24, starting at 8:00 a.m.  The reopening will largely depend on the latest track of the storm.

• Cleveland Street between Second and Third Street (By the Tennis Courts)
• Lee Street and Pontchartrain Drive
• KC Drive and East West Drive (By Sons of Italy Hall)
• The Park at the intersection of Rue Rochelle and Independence
• John Slidell Park on Robert Blvd.
