HAMMOND -- Faculty and students should plan to return to Southeastern Louisiana University and its off-site loctions for classes beginning Monday, Sept. 8.

The campus will remain closed at least through Wednesday, Sept. 3, with only previously-identified essential personnel allowed on campus.

Depending upon return of power and completion of other recovery procedures, staff may be expected to return to work before the end of the week.

Updates will be posted on the university's Web site, www.selu.edu, and with area media. The university's radio station, KSLU 90.9 FM, which can also be heard over Southeastern's Web site, will feature regular updates.
