Two arrested in meth lab bust

PONCHATOULA -- Agents with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Division arrested two men Friday on methamphetamine charges.

Police conducted a search warrant at the home of Stephen Morgan, located in the 100 block of North Fourth Street in Ponchatoula, according to Blair Foster, a sheriff’s office spokesperson. Agents found a meth lab and methamphetamine inside.
Officers arrested Morgan, 32, and 25-year-old Jonathan Lowery, who was inside the home at the time of the search, Foster said.
The two men were charged with creation, operation and possession of a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory and possession of meth. They were taken to the Tangipahoa Parish Jail in Amite.
