Senate debate set for WWL-TV on Oct. 22

WWL-TV is partnering with a network of television stations across Louisiana to present the final live, televised debate between the major candidates for U.S. Senate.
Incumbent Democrat Mary Landrieu and Republican challenger John Kennedy will face questions from a panel of journalists in the Campaign 2008 special, Wednesday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m., live on WWL-TV Channel 4 and wwltv.com.
The one-hour program will also be carried on WAFB-TV Baton Rouge, KSLA-TV Shreveport, KLFY-TV Lafayette, KNOE-TV Monroe and KPLC-TV Lake Charles. It will be moderated by WWL-TV news anchor Dennis Woltering.
