SHREVEPORT -- Two men robbed a high school teacher at gunpoint inside
her classroom this morning.
Shreveport police say the teacher, 59-year-old Pamela Peak, arrived in
her classroom 6:30 a.m.
The classroom is located in a temporary building at Caddo Parish Magnet
High School.
Peak told police she heard a knock at the door and thought it was likely
a student. She reportedly opened the door and found two men, possibly in
their late teens, standing outside.
Peak says one of the men pointed a gun at her and stole her wallet and
cell phone.
The robbers ran away and have not been caught.
Peak, who has been employed with the Caddo Parish School system for 22
years, was not injured.
