Police: $200,000 worth of jewelry stolen

Over $200,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from a residence in the 1200 block of First Street, the New Orleans Police Department announced Monday.
Shown above is a picture of the stolen earrings: citrina and garnet clip ons.
Police have asked the public for assistance in locating the missing property, as well as the person(s) responsible for the theft.
The incident occurred on January 17. Among the jewelry stolen was a diamond bracelet, a yellow and white diamond ring, one pair of citrine and garnet clip on earrings and a 19th century antique gold bracelet.
Anyone with information on the case has been asked to call Crimestoppers at 822-1111. Callers could be eligible for a reward.
