| Recommended Police make arrest in fatal hit and run accident

State Police announced Tuesday the arrest of a man allegedly involved in a fatal hit and run accident Sunday night in Larose.

The incident happened on LA 308 in Lafourche Parish.
According to police, 57-year-old Tommy Eymard of Cut Off was taken into custody shortly before noon Tuesday.
Police said car parts recovered at the scene matched those of Eymard’s damaged vehicle.
