School closings for Wednesday, February 14

Charter Schools:

Hynes Charter -- Carrollton campus open and St. Henry campus open

Archdiocese Schools:

St. Andrew Episcopal remains closed due to lack of power.

RSD Schools:

Schools in this area did not receive damage, but experienced power outages. Whether or not there will be classes Wednesday depends on when power is restored to the Carrollton area.

KIPP Believe:

The second floor of the KIPP Believe school is Priestly Charter. They will be closed the rest of the week because of wall damage. Officials have not yet been able to get into the school.

JP Schools:

Westwego Elementary will be closed. There is extensive damage to the cafeteria and some classrooms.

Butler Elementary and Stella Worley Middle School will resume classes Wednesday.

Universities:

Xavier, Tulane and Loyola Universities will resume classes Wednesday
