An arrest warrant has been issued for an officer with the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, according to a news release issued by the Sheriff's Office Tuesday.

Authorities say Sheriff Craig Webre was contacted last week by a senior member of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office regarding an ongoing homicide investigation.

Terrebonne investigators informed Webre and others they would be interviewing two members of the Lafourche Sheriff’s Office relative to the investigation.

Both officers were placed on administrative leave.

One officer – identified as Deputy Kim Pietre - was interviewed by authorities. The next day she voluntarily resigned from the sheriff’s office.

Next, Terrebonne investigators interviewed Detective Sgt. David Mosley.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Mosley and he was advised to surrender himself to Terrebonne authorities.
