CUT OFF -- A teenager was critically injured Tuesday night after he lost control of his vehicle on LA 308 due to bad weather, State Police said. TFC Rodney Hyatt, spokesman for State Police Troop C, said the teen, 18-year-old Charlie Naquin, was traveling southbound around 8:10 p.m. when his car veered off the road and struck a utility pole. Naquin was the only occupant in the car and was wearing his seatbelt, Hyatt said. He was rushed to the hospital immediately following the accident. State Police said they do not suspect alcohol was a factor in the crash.
