The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed that officers have recovered the body of a missing boater.

The boater disappeared in the Tangipahoa River near Bedico Creek.

The man went into the water after the boater’s vessel collided with another boat.

The victim has not been identified yet.
