Capping a gruesome seven-hour period, a 25-year-old man was killed in the early morning hours of Sunday in the 800 block of Claiborne Avenue.

The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m.  When the First District responded to a call of a shooting, they found a victim inside a parked vehicle with a gunshot to the torso.

He was pronounced dead on the scene and police are withholding his name until the family can be notified.
