The Office of Environmental Services is holding a public meeting in Plaquemines Parish to talk about allowing a company to bring debris from another state to the parish.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the Belle Chase High School Auditorium. The address is 8436 Highway 23.

Residents will have the opportunity to voice their concerns about a proposed permit that would allow a company to bring construction and demolition debris from Chicago to a site in the parish.
