Four blocks are without water while a main water line is being repaired in Old Jefferson.

Dakin Street, Byron Street, O’Dwyer Place and Monticello Avenue are affected. Those on those streets will be out of water service for the next five to six hours.

Work crews from the Jefferson Parish Department of Water are on the scene making repairs to a 12” main water line and broken valve.
