Special commemorative Memory Bells are available for a $3 donation from the following locations:

- All New Orleans fire stations

- Jefferson Parish fire stations

- St. Bernard Parish fire stations

- St. Tammany Parish fire stations

- Plaquemines Parish public schools

Your three-dollar donation for the bell will benefit local fire department charities and school scholarship funds.

Then please join members of the Eyewitness News team at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 29th at one of the following locations for a memorial program and live broadcast:

- St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Lakeview (corner of Canal Blvd. & Harrison Ave.)

- The Pavilion in Lafreniere Park in Metairie

- Chalmette High School Gym in St. Bernard Parish

- The Northshore Harbor Center (100 Harbor Center Blvd., Slidell)

- Belle Chasse High School Auditorium, 8346 Highway 23, Belle Chasse

If you don’t have a “Remembering Katrina” bell just bring any bell to the ceremony.
