According to Officer Sabrina Richardson, an NOPD spokesperson, 21-year-old James Douglas Johnson is wanted for a murder that took place July 18 in the 2100 block of Annunciation Street.

Richardson said that night Sixth District officers responded to calls of a shooting and found the victim had been shot while driving his car and was brought to a nearby hospital where he later died.

Police issued an arrest warrant for Johnson for second-degree murder, Richardson said, and have asked for the public’s assistance to find him.
