BOSSIER CITY -- Two teenage boys, ages 13 and 16, have been arrested on charges they beat robbed and beat a man to death in Bossier City.

Police say the 16-year-old was a Hurricane Katrina evacuee from New Orleans.

The teens were arrested last Wednesday on charges they attacked 51-year-old Michael Hunt after going with him to an ATM. Police say Hunt got away and walked back to his motel, but was later found beaten. He later died at the hospital.

The teens were arrested last week and held on robbery charges pending an autopsy. Police say the charges were upgraded to first-degree murder after the autopsy concluded Hunt was murdered.

The 13-year-old is from Bossier City. The 16-year-old had been staying at a residence in Bossier City after evacuating from New Orleans. Their names were not made public because they are juveniles.
