Orleans residents can sound off on evacuation process Wednesday

10:14 AM CDT on Wednesday, October 8, 2008

Chad Bower / Eyewintess News

Those who want to talk about the Hurricane Gustav evacuation process will have the opportunity Wednesday night in a New Orleans town hall meeting.

WWL-TV

The African American Leadership Project is hosting the meeting 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. They want to hear from residents, especially those who used the publicly assisted evacuation program, about their experiences evacuating during Gustav

Recommendations and possible solutions to the issues the residents bring up could be addressed with the input of the residents.
