Firefighters were on the scene of a fire at an apartment complex in St. Bernard Parish Friday afternoon.

A fire burns Friday afternoon in village square in Chalmette

Fire Chief Thomas Stone tells Eyewitness News a firefighter may have been hurt.

He said the area in village square is unoccupied.
