N.O. attorney to plead guilty to stealing law firm's funds

A New Orleans attorney accused of stealing millions from his former law firm is expected to plead guilty in court Friday.
Perdigao is accused of stealing millions of dollars from his former law firm.
He was indicted last year on a number of charges and then again this week. A grand jury indicted him on new charges that he hacked into his former firm's computer system and stole bills, confidential correspondence between prosecutors and the FBI, as well as other records.
James Perdigao has already requested a change of plea hearing.
Perdigao is remembered best for representing Treasure Chest Casino Owner Robert Guidry during his client’s involvement in the Edwin Edwards corruption case.
